Today I went out to check up on the progress of the Carnival Cruise Line Grand Port. The bottom line is that some activity is happening but at a pretty slow rate. They have cut an equipment road in from Grand Bahama Highway over to the job site. It's pretty rough as you can see below but at the end of it was an equipment yard which the security guard allowed me to make a short video about.

The security guard told me that 25 people come to work there each weekday and that they are cutting a road from the equipment site over to the actual site of the port and they plan to have that done and begin work on the actual port site by the end of this year. No dredging has begun yet.
