It was recently reported that the Fortune Bay Inlet, which is also known as the Smith's Point Inlet would be dredged to a depth of 9 feet below MLW (Mean Low Water). As you can see from this short boots on the ground video, there is no evidence of any dredging activity it is already mid September. I hope the economic slowdown is not giving anyone cause to reconsider this activity given that it has been needed for a couple of years now and actually in the negotiation phase for well over a year at this point.
